Tilly & Jono

A Mediterranean wedding at Finca Torre Bosch

The Story

Spanish sunshine. Eighty-eight guests. A mariachi band. And a wedding that was anything but ordinary.

2026 has been quite the year for Wildheart. From Venice to the Tuscan hills of Villa Apparita and the Swedish coastline of Ellös, I've spent much of this year photographing weddings in some incredible corners of Europe.

Destination weddings have always been close to my heart. I got married in Budapest myself, so I know how special it is to bring your favourite people together somewhere new.

And then came Alicante. Tilly and Jono chose Finca Torre Bosch for their June wedding, bringing 88 of their favourite people to Spain for a celebration full of personality, beautiful details, incredible food and live music. From Tilly's lace-edged veil to that unforgettable balcony bouquet toss, it was an absolute joy to photograph.

The Bridal Look

Tilly got ready at a private Airbnb before we headed over to Finca Torre Bosch. Her Velvet Birdcage Bespoke Bridal dress was gorgeous, but can we talk about that veil? The lace edging was incredible. I could have photographed it all day.

Under the Spanish Sun

Tilly and Jono exchanged vows outside in the beautiful Spanish sunshine, surrounded by their favourite people. I love those little looks, the laughter and the hugs that happen when nobody's thinking about the camera. They're often the photographs that mean the most.

Fashion, feeling and fleeting moments.

For me, wedding photography isn't only about the portraits or the beautiful setting. It's about how the day actually felt — the people, the energy and all the moments in between. And Tilly and Jono's day had so much of that.

The Celebration

Food, Music & Mediterranean Magic

The food was incredible, and I loved seeing everyone gathered together enjoying it. It's one of my favourite things about destination weddings: the chance to slow down, eat well and really spend time with the people you love.

And the mariachi band! They brought such brilliant energy to the celebrations. It was exactly the kind of joyful, slightly unexpected moment that makes a wedding feel completely personal.

The Bouquet Toss

One of my favourite moments was the bouquet toss. Tilly appeared on the balcony while everyone gathered in the courtyard below. The anticipation, the catch and that absolutely brilliant reaction — I love photographing moments like these because you simply couldn't stage them.

Why I Love What I Do

Having celebrated my own wedding abroad, destination weddings will always be close to my heart. This year has taken me to some extraordinary places, but what stays with me is always the people and the stories. Thank you, Tilly and Jono, for letting me be part of yours. What a day!

Stay Wild!
